I learned my love of cameras from Dad. I remember when I was just a lad that Dad was a shutterbug. For some reason (I never actually asked) he
preferred using reversal film, and keeping his growing photo collection as slides.
Very much a scene of the 70's, the slide night was a big post-holiday feature in our family.
Nowadays the final form of the photo is not determined by film type: we can choose from a miriad of veiwing methods after taking the shot.
Yet the tradition of the slideshow continues unabated...
